Globalization and healthy planet


States are trying to manage problems like ozone depletion and climate change. It is pushing states to liberalize trade and foreign investment, promote specialization, and eliminate subsidies, which in the past have contributed to market failures and economic and environmental results.

It is calling the attention of the capacity of developing states for environmental management through the transfer of technologies, knowledge, and development assistance all this cause by globalization, as a positive thing. And it is contributing to a host of domestic reforms to policies such as better environmental laws, stronger institutions, and more secure property rights.
